The traveling exhibition presented by Leyden High School featuring the 100-year history of the district comes to Schiller Park Public Library in November.
Celebrate 100 years of Leyden Pride by learning more about the traditions, innovations, and achievements that create the legacy. From the beginning as “Leyden,” to the addition of “West,” and the combining of athletic teams, colors and mascots…this is Leyden Pride!
Visit the library during November to view the exhibition. The exhibition will be free and open to the public during library hours.
Parents of Young Children: Infants, toddlers and preschoolers are invited to join the Schiller Park Public Library’s “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” reading program. This program is designed to encourage a love of books and reading to your young child and receive reading incentives along the way. Go on an alphabet adventure with a weekly- ABC Letter series. Each KIT is a new weekly letter and includes a ready to assemble craft to help children learn the ABCs! Come back each week for a new letter!

Join the library for a special live dance performance in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Ballet Folklorico Huehuecoyotl, will showcase traditional Mexican folklore dances the whole family is sure to enjoy. Light refreshments will be provided.
