Scrap Crafts

Join the library on your winter break Wednesday, December 26th -January 4th and help us use up our leftover extra crafts from some of our previous programs.  You may pick up a craft with instructions to complete at home or work on the craft at the library.

No registration required, while supplies last only!  Limit one craft per day per child.

Family Movie Afternoon

(All Ages)

Join the library monthly at 1:30 p.m. and enjoy our feature film, snacks and more. Times posted and movie ratings may vary.

Drop-In STEM

(Ages 5 and Up)

Drop-In the library and test your creativity and engineering skills with our Snap Circuits, Legos, Magnetic Tiles and STEM kits.

Saturday, December 8th, From 1:00-3:00 P.M.  No registration required.

Tot Stay & Play

(Ages 1-4 With a Caregiver)

Babies, toddlers and caregivers will enjoy short books and rhymes together.  Stay for 15 minutes of free play after each session at 11:00 a.m.

Thursday, December 6th – No registration required.

Edible Creations

(Ages 4-17, Limited to 15 participants)

Visit the library Wednesday, December 5th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and create some festive edible treats!

Registration begins November 14th.

Holiday Closing

The Library will be closed Thursday November 24 & Friday, November 25  in observance of Thanksgiving.

Family Reading Night

Family Reading Night is an annual statewide event held the third Thursday in November to encourage families to spend quality time reading together. In celebration, families are invited to join the Library on Thursday, November 15th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for stories, activities, crafts & more.

International Games Week

(All Ages)

Come celebrate International Games Day at the library on Saturday, November 10th  from 1:00-2:30 p.m. and enjoy a variety of games! Board games, live action games and open video game play too. Bring your Nintendo DS and Pokemon games.

Day Of The Dead Celebration

(All Ages)

Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday that honors family and friends who have passed on.  Throughout the month of October, everyone is invited to contribute letters, drawings, and pictures in memory of friends, family and pets for our community Day of the Dead altar.  On Thursday, November 1st from 4:30-6:00 p.m. we will celebrate the altar along with pan de muertos (Day of the Dead bread), Mexican hot cocoa, stories and decorate a craft.
